I am Kate LeFranc, and I dabble in way too many worlds to capture in one pithy blog title! I’m a pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA), a grad student, and a giant church nerd. This blog will be a lot of church/theology, a little bit artsy/crafty, a little bit roller derby (where I am known as Bruise Almighty), and hopefully all Good News.

A little bit more about who I am here.

Everything on this blog is my own work, unless otherwise noted. Please cite me appropriately, and link back if online!

Right now, I’m a doctoral student at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA, working on queer perspectives in systematic theology. I hope to write a theology of salvation that makes sense for a modern world, from an intersectional queer perspective.

I am available for preaching, worship leadership, and/or speaking opportunities. Please contact me and let’s talk!

You can find me on Twitter as @kmlefranc and Instagram as kmlefranc

  1. Kate….I once had a women’s group in a church I served made up of all young women….their name……”women that cuss”. I actually used this moniker when announcing their meeting venues.
